The True Cost of the MA Income Tax Surcharge

Massachusetts voters have a big decision ahead of them on November 8th, as their vote will determine the fate of the Massachusetts Income Tax Surcharge. As mentioned in their original article, NFIB or the National Federation of Independent Business, stated that, “While proponents claim Income Tax Surcharge only impacts the state’s wealthiest earners, they fail to mention many small businesses will also be subjected to this 80% tax hike”.  Our company President, Korey Bell, took the time to share his thoughts on this proposed question and what it means for small businesses if this bill passes.
